Head coach Richie Walker has made five changes from his debutant tournament in Atlanta last week to his sophomore competition this weekend in Langford, B.C. The seven Eagles who carry over from the home tournament will try to bring the momentum of a 5-1 Plate title performance with them.

Out are Jillion Potter, Meya Bizer, Kate Zackary, Lauren Doyle and Kristen Thomas. Replacing them are Vix Folayan, Christy Ringgenberg, Joanne Fa'avesi, Emily Azevedo and Carmen Farmer. The holdovers from Atlanta are Ryan Carlyle, Megan Bonny, Bui Baravilala, Jessica Javelet, Alev Kelter, Nicole Heavirland and Richelle Stephens.

Lining up against the Eagles in Pool B are New Zealand, Spain and Fiji. They beat all three last weekend, the Kiwis and Spaniards in pool play and Fijiana in the Plate semis. Overall this season, the USA is 1-1 against Fiji, 1-2 against New Zealand and 2-1 against Spain.

The Eagles will have a chance to build toward the New Zealand clash, which is likely the pool decider. Saturday they play Spain at 3:50 p.m. ET, Fiji at 6:42 p.m. ET and New Zealand at 9:12 p.m. ET. All matches will be streamed live by World Rugby.
