The 2015 Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship shattered the event's attendance record, pulling in 24,813 over the course of two days. The previous high mark for the six-year-old event was 19,275 in 2013.
The substantial growth comes on the heels of a dip in attendance last year, with a 31-percent increase from 2014 to 2015. Day one saw 13,790 cross through the turnstiles and Sunday 11,023.
