Newly minted Eagle lock Greg Peterson has signed on with Leicester. The 6'8" Australian second rower with American parents made his debut for the Eagles last month, playing well in the absence of the team's English-based professionals. The international cap helped free-up Peterson to be signed by a Premiership team, and he joins fellow Eagle Blaine Scully with the Tigers.

Women from throughout the world rugby community came together to make a video in support of Jillion Potter, who is fighting cancer. Players from Canada, New Zealand, Germany, England, Spain, Brazil, China, Ireland, France and Australia show their support.
The women’s 7s team stumbled to a disappointing seventh-place finish a couple of weeks ago in Dubai, the opening tournament of the Olympic-qualifying season. The Eagles beat Russia twice and China once, but fell to Fiji, New Zealand and Canada. The Fiji and New Zealand games were close, but the 36-0 drubbing at the hands of Canada was embarrassing.
