Kansas City, Mo. Saturday, is the second of three West qualifying
tournaments. First-place Glendale will not be in attendance, so it’s

in Lakefront 7s, so a new champ will be crowned.

Saturday, defeating East Palo Alto 21-14 in the final.

The Midwest represented well on day one of Cape Fear Sevens,
with each of their teams winning their respective pools. 1823 defeated the
Kenya Exiles, Cape Fear Blue and Georgia All-Stars en route to a 3-0
record. The Chicago Lions downed the Pacific Barbarians and and the South
and Florida All-Stars to go undefeated, as well.
