(TORONTO, ON) – Ontario Blues head coach Chris Silverthorn has named his starting lineup for June 28's, Saturday’s clash against USA Rugby’s Collegiate All-­Americans at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton, Mass.Silverthorn has chosen to start a mixture of veterans and up-‐and-­coming talent, and has stated that Saturday’s lineup will be very comparable to the level of the team he expects to name for Ontario’s Canadian Rugby Championship opener against the Atlantic Rock in August.

 In the front row, Canadian international prop Tom Dolezel and Canada U20 hooker Sawyer Herron will be joined by Balmy Beach prop Jacob Rumball. The second row will be manned by the Balmy Beach tandem of Scott Dunham and Haddon Murray, while the back row will feature Toronto Scottish’s Tim Richardson at Number 8, as well as two flankers with recent international experience: Canada U20 standout Lucas Rumball and the Canada ‘A’-­capped Alistair Clark.In the backs, Oakville Crusaders’ Andrew Ferguson remains at the scrum half position, alongside Stoney Creek’s Shawn Windsor at fly-half, nationally-­‐capped captain Derek Daypuck and Balmy Beach’s Dan Moor will start as centres, while the back three will be made up of Waterloo County’s Rich Lebel, recent Canadian National Sevens debutant Jake Webster, and Canada Maple Leafs Sevens fullback Dan Mathie. 

The All-­‐Americans’ match against the Blues will be the third of their three-­match June series. The Americans defeated Cambridge University twice. The match against the All‐Americans marks the final preseason game for the Blues. From there, Ontario will kick off their Canadian Rugby Championship season against the Atlantic Rock on August 16 at Twin Elm Rugby Park in Ottawa.
