So the #1 and #4 teams are confirmed. The #2 and #3 will be Glendale and the Barbarians, but which is which remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, the teams in the other half of the West, in Texas, have almost confirmed their spots. The Austin Blacks scored late to edge the Dallas Reds 20-17.

Dallas fullback Kelly Kolberg said his team put in a "great performance. Our defense has been real impressive; we can only go up from here."

Both teams scored one try, and got the rest of their points from penalty kicks.

With blowout victories, the Dallas Harlequins and Austin Huns are secure in playoff spots. The Huns and Dallas cannot be caught in the last two weeks. Their game next week will likely decide who takes 3rd. Neither has an easy end to their season, as the Huns finish against the Blacks, and the Reds finish against the Dallas Harlequins.

Meanwhile the 'Quins and the Blacks play next week, with the winner virtually assured of finishing 1st.
