The top men's college championships are down to 12 teams, with the Varsity Cup semifinals set, and the DIA quarterfinals now set after today's results.

In the Varsity Cup, Cal, BYU, and Navy all won convincingly, and Central Washington beat Utah by a point.

So the semis look like this:

April 26
Navy at BYU
CWU at Cal

the final is set to be played May 3 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

In DIA, the Cal Poly Mustangs outran the Cowboys from Wyoming 46-7 in the last playoff game of the day. Davenport edged Army 28-24 on a late try, while Colorado won a close one over San Diego State, and Santa Clara hammered Colorado State.

So the matchups for April 26 will be:

Santa Clara at St. Mary's
Davenport at Lindenwood
Colorado at Life
Cal Poly at Arkansas State

Two of these games - Santa Clara v St. Mary's and Davenport v Lindenwood - are intra-conference games, with the teams involved having already faced each other.

The semifinals are slated for May 3, with the final May 10 at Stanford University.
