Saint Mary's going for the try vs BYU. Karen Drinkwater Photo.

The final DI rankings of the season remain unchanged from the last rankings. The only games that took place were the DIAA final and an exhibition between St. Mary's and Gordon of Australia.

Although Mary Washington won the DIAA championship, they did not slot in the rankings. They will have the opportunity to prove us wrong by possibly taking on a Dartmouth squad that is in prime position for the DIAA spring championship.

With the spring season approaching we will get better insight into how the top half of the rankings will truly look. The top five all play a predominantly spring schedule and we will see how they stack up against each other. Cal, St. Mary’s, Life, BYU and Lindenwood have played a handful of games total so far this year.

The current top 25 does have strong geographic and conference diversity. As of now, ten conferences and five independent teams are represented in the top 25.

The PAC, Mid-South and Rugby East continue to dominate the conversation with a total of ten teams being represented.
