Coming into championship weekend, the DII College rankings were a doozy to complete. Queens College shocked the field two weeks ago to get a shot at dethroning Whitewater and as a result two teams from the Cardinals Conference are headed to the final four. The conference gets a lot of bump thanks to the performance.

The top four are the four remaining teams. Whitewater, NC State, Iowa Central and Queens. Arguments can be made that some of the teams that lost in the final eight could be a top four team but ultimately winners get promoted.

As a result of Queens and NC State winning, UVA slots in at number six. The Cavaliers were a game winning try at the death from playing Iowa Central. They come in at six. VMI also rejoins the fray at 17. They gave Queens a tight game in conference playoffs.

Villanova, UNC-Charlotte North Dakota State and Norwich round out the top ten.

Bethel drops to 14 after a disappointing loss to Whitewater and Geneseo falls from 18 to 25.
