The DII playoffs are in full swing and last week featured a number of intriguing matchups. Some of our higher ranked teams lost and moved down accordingly. Due to the structure of the DII playoffs, some teams will have a shot at redemption while others have been eliminated.

The highly anticipated matchup between Salisbury and Towson did not dissapoint. Towson fended off a surge from the Sharks to earn the top seed out of the Potomac. The two teams have split the season series and are consistenly two of the top teams so Salisbury drops two spots to 5th right behind Towson. With the loss, Salisbury will take on Coastal Carolina in a play in game this weekend and have a little more difficult path to the National Championship.

Coastal Carolina shocked ECU in the Southern playoffs with and emphatic victory but lost to UNC-Wilmington in the Sunday Final. The Chanticleers move up to 17th and ECU drops to 18th. Unfortunately for the Pirates, their season ended with the loss in conference semis.

The WILL and Northern Lights Conferences went as expected with Whitewater and Duluth taking care of business. Lindenwood-Belleville put up a good fight against the more experienced War Hawks and will not be punished for a loss to a tough team. The same goes for Winona, who had to play a fresh Fighting Penguins squad, the day after a tough semi-final with North Dakota State. Northern Michigan lost two games and falls to number 19.

Both Salve Regina and RPI won their respective conferences and enter the Top 25 for the first time.
