USA Club Sevens Championship - The 2018 USA Emirates Airline Club Sevens National Championships take place August 11th and 12th at the Baker Athletic Complex at Columbia University in upper Manhattan.  The matches will be played in the 3,500 seat Rocco Commisso Soccer Stadium, and the 17,000 seat Robert K. Kraft Field at Wein Stadium. (Kraft, a Columbia alumnus, is the owner of the New England Patriots.)

The event welcomes 32 Men's and Women's teams who will play for the Emil Signes Cup that honors the legendary American 7s coach.

The matches will be aired live on FloRugby, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 11.

Youth Sevens Side Selected - USA Rugby has selected a 12-player squad to represent the USA in the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games Rugby Tournament in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The 12-team rugby part of the event starts on October 6 and runs to October 18. Head Coach is JD Stephenson.  Alan Wallace is the physiotherapist. The USA Girls failed to qualify and Canada will represent North America.

Rugby Africa Gold Cup - The action continues for the Rugby Africa Gold Cup Championship when Kenya host Tunisia and Uganda welcome Morocco. A Kenya win will set up the final match between two unbeaten (4-0) sides, Namibia and Kenya. The winner will earn a berth into Pool A of the 2019 Japan Rugby World Cup. The loser will have a last RWC opportunity by competing in the four-team (Hong Kong, Germany, and Canada) repechage tournament for the last 2019 RWC placement.
