RBS MEN'S SIX NATIONS STANDINGS

Six Nations Finale - Albeit, Ireland Men hosting England has generated the most international publicity, but other RBS Six Nations contests also conclude this weekend. Of equal importance is the Ireland and England Women's match as both sides are 4-0. The winner will take the crown, and have a confidence boost as these nations prepare for August's Women's Rugby World Championship in Dublin and Belfast.

The match ups are:

Ireland versus England

Scotland versus Italy

Wales versus France

Italian Men are on an eleven-game losing streak.

European Championship - This second tier championship also concludes with undefeated Georgia at 4-0 anticipating a victory away against Romania. Other matches will see Spain welcome Belgium, and Russia host Germany.

New World Rugby Calendar 2020-2034 - World Rugby announced a fifteen-year Test match calendar, starting in 2020, which will impact all nations.  In an attempt to provide higher competition, tier two nations, including, Samoa, Tonga, Georgia, Romania, the United States, Canada, and Japan, and also tier three countries like Germany, Uruguay, and Brazil will play more tier one sides.

Vancouver 7s Dream Team - Named were Tom Mitchell, England, Rosco Speckman, SA, Dan Norton, England, James Rodwell, England, Chris Day, SA, Matias Osadczuk, Argentina, and Perry Baker, USA. Baker achieved his 100th try.

Paris Clubs Merge - Experiencing declining attendance, the two Paris-based clubs in the French Top 14 - Racing 92 and Stade Francais - will compete as one team, starting next year. Traditionally, rugby has always been more popular outside Paris, especially, in the southwest area of the country.
