SCRUMDOWN 1968/69

In 1967, Jon Prusmack began Scrumdown (1968/69 photo above), the first authentic magazine devoted to rugby in the United States. He assembled a team of top reporters and columnists to report on the sport here and abroad. By 1975, Ed Hagerty assumed the Editor-in-Chief position. The two men agreed that the new name should be Rugby Magazine, which continued for thirty five-years, ending publication in 2010.
