Wing Zack Test exited the USA's defeat of Uruguay in the Americas Rugby Championship opener Saturday with what looked like a nasty injury. He was clearly dazed with a limp ankle, and he was strapped to a backboard and carted off the field. While the details of Test's injury are unknown, USA Rugby announced via press release that he underwent surgery and is in stable condition.

"Our thoughts are with the Test family during this time." said USA Rugby CEO Dan Payne. "I'm certain, in true Zack form, he will face this adversity with all his power. The same way he plays the game, lives his life and represents our country."

Called up to replace Test is Lindenwood sophomore Deion Mikesell. He earned his first and lone cap with the Eagles in last year's ARC, playing against Uruguay. He last got on the pitch Saturday for Lindenwood's second side against the St. Louis Royals, a DIII men's club.
