In a match between the two best teams in the Washington DC area, #1-ranked Gonzaga slammed a very athletic Perry Street Pride team 53-3 Friday night.
After a Ben Cina penalty, Gonzaga scored their first try through lock William Clougherty. At 18 minutes center Frank Ruzicka touched down, and after a Cima penalty, Dominic Plantamura's try made it 27-3. Cima, as usual, was perfect with his kicking.
No. 8 Plantamura scored two more tries in the second half. Front-rowers Matt Parrish and Jack Carroll capped off the scoring. Cima kicked 14 points and scrumhalf Immy Ronan added two conversions late.
