Eagle center and current Chicago Griffins Head Coach Andrew Suniula has signed with Wasps and will join the team once his visa is sorted out, probably in about two weeks.

Suniula has, despite the USA's poor record of late, enjoyed perhaps his most consistently strong period of play for the United States. That form has not gone unnoticed, and Director of Rugby Dai Young is looking for some power in his midfield.

Suniula will be one of the foreign players for Wasps, so finding playing time as he battles the non-European-player limit will be tough. But the training environment for the USA center, whose last pro contract was with the Cornish Pirates in England's Championship, will be a boost to Suniula and the USA.

This will mean that all three Suniula brothers will be playing professionally, as Roland is at Auch in France's Pro D2, and Shalom is on contract with the USA 7s team.
