All Blacks

New Zealand achieved the trifecta of international rugby awards, garnering the team, player and coach of the year in 2014. The All Blacks XV put together a streak of 17 consecutive victories, a whitewash against England, the Bledisole Cup versus traditional rival Australia, and its third in a row, four nation Southern Championship. All in all, business as usual.

Player of the Year – Brodie Retallick

The stalwart second row earned his 35th cap, and anchored the powerful pack. He is the fourth New Zealander to win the award.

Coach of the Year – Steve Hansen

The third award in a row for a much respected coach on the center stage of world rugby (The All Blacks Facebook page has over three million Likes.)
