It's interesting to note that after Blake Burdette and Patrick Latu proved not fully fit to play for the Eagles, Ollie Kilifi came in as a late replacement and has not only traveled with the team, he got capped on Saturday against Georgia, coming in as a late sub.

Kilifi is another beefy prop (like Latu) who has been criticized for being not quite trim enough for high-level play. But his coaches at Seattle-OPSB have sung his praises for three years now. He is the fourth prop from the state of Washington to be capped this year.

One of those, Shawn Pittman, was a late scratch against Georgia. He failed a late fitness test, but could well be ready to play against Russia. Also from Washington, but not a prop, flanker/lock Scott LaValla is still with the team and could well be able to play against Russia this coming weekend.

Watch also for Titi Lamositele to, barring injury, start against the Russians in order to get his starting cap, a prerequisite for getting a contract with a major pro club.
