The USA Eagles scored a lopsided victory against Chile (Rank: 24) 64-0 in Lockhart Stadium Ft. Lauderdale in the third round of the Americas Rugby Championship.

The Eagles pounded in nine tries without ceding a point to the outmanned Los Cóndores. Six of those tries came from first time try scorers.

The team now sports two wins and one draw (Argentina) as it heads south of the border to play away against Brazil in Sao Paulo, February 27, and Uruguay in Montevideo on March 5th in the next two matches. A tough-minded Uruguay could be the spoilers to the Eagles' quest for an ARC 2016 championship on point differential against Argentina.

Argentina narrowly beat Uruguay 24-21, while Canada beat Brazil 52-25.

Eagles Tries: Baumann, Eloff, Edwards, Taufet'e, Thomas, Anderson, Te'o (2), London, Hume

Conversions: Eloff (7)
