Los Angeles won yet again over the weekend and remain undefeated in Southern California's DI league, and with their 45-14 dispatching of Belmont Shore, have clinched 1st place and home field advantage in the league's championship game.

The second-place team, and thus the away team in the one-game playoff, has yet to be decided, but the San Diego Old Aztecs, who cantered past Las Vegas 57-27 on the weekend, are likely to secure that spot this coming weekend, as all they need to do is beat Belmont Shore. Old Aztecs and LA face off in a league game April 12, only to play again right after.

In Northern California, there's still work to be done. Sacramento beat Santa Rosa 40-36 this past weekend to secure the #1 seed out of Group A. The East Palo Alto Razorbacks have clinched 1st in Group B. But those teams will have to negotiate some playoffs first.

Santa Rosa will play San Jose, and Fresno will play SFGG for a place in the NorCal semis, where Sacramento and EPA await. The East Palo Alto Bulldogs and Diablo Gaels are both ineligible for the playoffs. The Bulldogs haven't lost a game they've played this season; Diablo hasn't won a game.

In the West, Boulder, Provo, and the Utah Islanders all have to figure out who wins their tiny league. The winner will play the #2 team out of Red River.

With two games left, New Orleans leads the Red River Conference with a 12-1-1 record. The key game of those two will be this weekend against the 11-0-1 Dallas Reds. The two teams tied 12-12 November 23. Dallas has four games left but at 56 points to 62 for New Orleans, this game is crucial. If Dallas loses and fails to get any bonus points, they could run the table and still finish 2nd.

The Austin Blacks are in with a shot, but it's a long shot. The good news for both New Orleans and Dallas is that they have a path to the national quarterfinals whether they finish 1st or 2nd, as the #2 team will face the West #1 for a play-in.
