Two second-half tries from scrumhalf and game MVP Nate Augspurger saw Old Blue over Boston 14-12 Saturday, securing 2nd place in the Northeast DI club league.

Boston led 12-0 at halftime from four penalty goals. But Old Blue came back, with Augspurger scoring the try to tie the game as time expired. James Bird kicked the conversion to win the game.

The victory left Old Blue at 10-2 for the season, with 48 standings points, and Boston at 9-3 with 46. The key game for Old Blue may have was likely last week, when they beat first-place NYAC 26-25. Had they lost that game, this week's contest would have been meaningless.

Old Blue now gets to host Life University in a play-in game May 3 to see who gets to enter the national club quarterfinals.
