The fall college 7s season is wrapped up, and two teams won relatively late tournaments to jump into the fray. Stony Brook won the storied new York 7s, and Nevada upset Sacramento State to claim the PacWest 7s title. For their efforts, they join the rankings as Nos. 24 and 25. Northeastern also won a small 7s tournament, but the competition wasn't considerably high, leaving the Huskies on the outside looking in. They'll have plenty of opportunity to climb in during the East Coast 7s season in the spring.

The next big date on the college 7s calendar is the Las Vegas Invitational. At the time of print, five ranked teams have already registered to compete for a spot at the Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship. That number will likely climb as the tournament gets closer.
