Serge Betsen Charity Tournament - Former French National, the great Serge Betsen, who does wonderful work through youth rugby in his country of Cameroon, is sponsoring a charity tournament on Saturday, August 27 in Virginia. This will be Touch Rugby competition, the venue will be held at Little River Farm, 22006 James Monroe Avenue, Aldie, Virginia. The action begins at 10 a.m. and continues to 3 p.m. Cost is $50.00 per team. All monies go to the Serge Betson Academy USA to fund Cameroon youth initiatives. English RFU Offer Women Pro Contracts - The RFU announced that 48-female fifteen's players will be offered full-time, part-time, or short-time contracts after the Olympics. This represents England's effort to mount its most competitive squad for the Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland (Dublin and Belfast) next August 2017.
