US Women Play Canada - The USA Women's fifteen will play two matches in the Can-Am series at the Chula Vista Elite Athletic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. The games will be Tuesday March 28 (7 p.m.) against Canada, and then again on Saturday, April 1. That match will begin at 3 p.m. with tickets at $10.00 per person. The Tuesday game will be streamed live via USA Rugby's Facebook page at 7 p.m.

French Merger Cancelled - The best laid plans, etc. Paris-based clubs Racing 92 and Stade Francais planned to meld into one club to compete in the Top 14 until fan outrage squelched the merger. Both sides have experienced mediocre attendance.

Eagles' Men's Tickets on Sale - USA Rugby is selling tickets via Ticketmaster  (i.e.; USA Rugby.org/summer-series) for the two Emirates Airlines sponsored international contests in June. The first game on June 10, Saturday, welcomes Ireland to Red Bull Stadium, Harrison, New Jersey, a short drive from Manhattan. Attendees can go to the game via PATH, the underground tube transportation from New York City directly to the venue. The game will start at 4 p.m. The week after, Saturday, June 17, the Eagles play 12th ranked Georgia in Fifth Third Bank Stadium, Kennesaw, Georgia. The USA are 3-1 against the Lelos who finished second behind Romania in the recent European Tier Two championship.

Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) To Air Rugby League - This years marks a rugby milestone when the professional Toronto Wolfpack, a rugby league club, will compete in the UK.  The Wolfpack will become the first trans-Atlantic rugby entity, playing a schedule of four games at home in Toronto, followed by a month of four games away. At home, the team play at Lampart Stadium, which seats 9,000 spectators. The CBC Sports airing will generate more viewership and greater interest in the club in addition to more exposure to Rugby League play.

Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong 7s Tournament Pools Set - The USA will play Russia first on Friday, April 7, followed by two games on Saturday, April 8, against Scotland and Argentina.

CBS To Air D1-A Final - CBS Sports announced the network would air the College D1-A final on May 6, 2017, at 6 p.m. ET. The match will be played at St. Mary's Stadium in Moraga, California.
