The 2018 Sydney Sevens begins with the Women's squads starting the event next Thursday, January 25. The USA are in second place with 18 points, two behind New Zealand with 20. These results came from the opening tournament in Dubai last month.

This marks the fifteenth Men's HSBC World Rugby Sevens event in Australia, and the third consecutive venue for Sydney, which replaced the Gold Coast three years ago. The matches for Women and Men are played in the 45,000 capacity Allianz Stadium in Moore Park.

Next Stop - Hamilton, New Zealand

The fourth stop on the HSBC World Rugby circuit moves to Hamilton, New Zealand, on February 3 and 4 for the Men only. The event will mark Hamilton's second tournament after Wellington gave up its hosting rights. The matches are played in the FMG Waikato Stadium, which seats 25,800.
