Major League Rugby Exhibition, NYC - Although Rugby United New York will not be one of the new teams in the 2018 launch of MLR this April, it continues to schedule matches as a team poised for a potential entry in 2019. This Saturday, March 24, Rugby United play a visiting Boston XV in Gaelic Park, Bronx. The match begins at 3 p.m. and tickets are thirty-dollars. The day will also feature the annual game between the NYPD and the FDNY. Gaelic Park's address is 201 West 240th Street in the Bronx, which can be reached by subway.

Major League Rugby and ESPN - MLR announced a new rights agreement with the ESPN network to air 31 regular and postseason games in its inaugural season. This represents the second network contract, the first with CBS, a 13-game deal.

RFU Expresses Assurance in England's Coach - The RFU, England's governing body, expressed a voice of confidence for head Coach Eddie Jones when spontaneous boos erupted at Twickenham after the Red Roses loss to Ireland. The defeat represented the third straight Test Match beating for England, a Six Nation losing skein last recorded in 2006. Jones took over England after their disastrous performance in the 2015 World Cup when they failed to qualify for the tournament's quarterfinals for the first time in all previous World Cups. Ireland Winger's Accolade - Twenty-one year old Jacob Stockdale was named the NatWest Six Nations Player of the Year. He scored a record seven tries in the five-match series.
