Major adjustments in the HS Club rankings as several teams were upset. Danville's run ended early and they drop precipitously out of #3.

By virtue of beating them, Islanders move up, and Peninsula Green, who almost beat the Islanders a week before, follow them.

San Diego Mustangs move up due to strong results, as do NOVA (beating higher-ranked West End) and Aurora (close loss to highly-regarded single-school team East HS). Those sounds of "finally" you hear are from Chicago (Brother Rice) and Maryland (Exiles) as those teams finally get in the rankings.

Marysville drops out as their season hasn't put them in competition for the Cup in Tennessee, and Fallbrook also drops out.

Santa Monica and Clark County might well have a very strong argument for a higher ranking. For Santa Monica, if the San Diego Mustangs do well at nationals, they will move up also. For the Oregon teams, we need to see more crossover play.

Virtually all men living in the U.S. must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. Men who fail to register become ineligible for important opportunities such as student loans, job training programs, citizenship for male immigrants, and driver’s license renewal in most states. In addition, registration is required for employment with the federal government, numerous state and local agencies, and a growing number of private employers. Men who fail to register by age 26 can be PERMANENTLY barred from these opportunities. Learn more, check your status, or register today at www.sss.gov.
