There was not much movement in the DI rankings. With the fall season coming to a close, many teams were not in action. We did, however, get the first taste of a few teams that play spring dominated schedules.

Life played its first competitive match against Arkansas State in the Huckaby Cup on Saturday. The Running Eagles won 34-10 and remain at the number three spot. Arkansas State does not drop due to the strength of its opponent.

St. Mary’s got its first run out of the season and reached the century mark against Chico State. The Gael’s remain at number four.

Penn State continued its undefeated season, winning a pair of games over the weekend. The Nittany Lions defeated Navy 39-29 and St. Joe’s 82-23.

The Midshipmen actually move up despite the lost. It has been an up and down season for Navy but a close loss to Penn State moves it up two spots to number 22.

The ECRC dominated the Empire in a conference showdown going 6-0. It vindicated our rankings, as Empire teams still have a ways to go before being considered.
