The second week of DI Spring rankings saw little movement due to the limited action from the weekend. The PAC Rugby conference saw the opening week yield expected results. The other two big games out west also saw the higher ranked team win.

Arizona gave number one ranked Cal a tough game and have shown tremendous improvement this year. Cal won the game but Arizona slots in at number 13, leaping Davenport.

In the other PAC game, UCLA struggled with Arizona State in the first half but a strong second half ended with a comfortable win. The Bruins struggle moves them down one spot to number 12.

St. Mary’s continues to impress, beating up Utah 55-12. The Gaels led comfortably throughout and remain a top contender this year.

The other game saw our rankings hold up when San Diego State edged Cal Poly 13-8 this weekend. The teams remain back-to-back at 20 and 21 respectively.
