People should take notice of UCLA in their victory in the West Coast 7s. Certainly you could argue that Cal used some younger players, and UCLA beat them by just a try, but the Bruins also shut out several very strong teams – only Cal scored on them. It seems only fair to push UCLA to #1.

Lindenwood makes a move after sweeping the Notre Dame 7s, including a victory in the final over #16 Davenport. Meanwhile San Diego State drops down as they lost the West Coast Plate Final to Cal State Long Beach, which moves into the Top 25.

Also moving in is Texas Tech, which is on equal footing at the moment in the Allied Rugby Conference 7s series.

Notre Dame drops out, and some other teams might be thinking they deserve to get into the Top 25 (Western Washington?). All they need are the right tournament results.
