Former USA U20 captain Scott LaValla, who has just graduated from Dublin
University (Trinity) where he captained the rugby team and played for the
Ulster Ravens in the B&I Cup, is rumored to be signing with Stade
Francais in Paris.
Stade is one of the most storied, and recognizable, teams in the French Top 14. The Paris club finished second in the European Challenge Cup, losing 19-18 to Harlequins. But they also finished a disappointing 11th in the Top 14 and perhaps are looking for some help in their second and back row.
Still, nothing is officially confirmed, but it looks as though LaValla will join Seta Tuilevuka, Kevin Swiryn and Taku Ngwenya as USA players playing in France's premier competition.
