2017 Penn Mutual CRC

The 2017 Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship concluded with a new attendance record for the event in its eighth year (Seven in Philadelphia, One in Columbus, Ohio). The tournament expanded its footprint from the two “Academy” fields that abut the Talen Energy Stadium, where many of the preliminary games were played to large crowds of fans.

NSCRO continued to hold its Men's National Championship, now in its fifth year, at the CRCs. The NSCRO Women's All-Stars made their second appearance and - despite just one day of practice as a team - they finished fifth out of 16 teams in their division. The Men's Challenge Cup had anew configuration of teams participating.
