THE FOUR COACHES

The final betting odds have been posted for the 2015 RWC, and, to no one’s surprise, the betting establishments in the UK predict an All Blacks vs. Wallabies final.

The odds on winning the title follow:

New Zealand 3/5

Australia 17/5

South Africa 8-1

Argentina 16-1

New Zealand have been the favorite from the first wagering postings of the event.  The bettors who favored England and/or Ireland making the semi-finals (good bets on September 18 when the tournament started) are out of pocket. Longer shots, Wales or France bets also proved unsuccessful.

Want to wager on who wins the Bronze,Third Place medal? Here are the odds:

South Africa 1-1

Argentina 10/3

New Zealand 9/2

Australia 11/2

The clear thinking is that the Boks and the Pumas will lose to their Rugby Championship rivals this weekend, and that South Africa will revenge the earlier season loss in Argentina when Los Pumas celebrated their first ever victory against the Boks.

A final bet is New Zealand against the Field for the title. These odds are:

New Zealand 4/5

Field 5/4

The Field wager gives you three teams to beat the All Blacks for a small payout.

The dynamic of RWC 2015 has changed from that opening between England and Fiji. But what has not changed in the past weeks is the overwhelming consensus that New Zealand will retain their 2011 RWC title.
