South Africa secured the RWC 2015 third place Bronze medal defeating Argentina 24-13. The Boks lead from the start and were up 16-0 at the break. Los Pumas committed many errors in the first half that led to three penalty goals from Handre Pollard.
In the second half, South Africa led 24-6 with a few minutes to play. But Argentina continued to pound toward the line, eventually scoring at the 80th-minute on a roll over try from Orlandi, which produced seven points.
Bryan Habana failed to score a try and remains tied with Jonah Lomu at 15 for most RWC tries.
The third place match, as will be tomorrow's final, remained an all southern hemisphere Rugby Championship affair.
The Boks recovered from the opening upset loss to Japan to finish third. Argentina achieved their second RWC Bronze medal game, beating France for third place in 2007. Congratulations to both sides.
