Yesterday, in Béziers, France, the French Women's fifteen defeated the USA Eagles 36-10. Les Bleues scored six tries in a match, mounting a powerful second half.

France put points on the board after but four-minutes after the opening whistle. The USA responded from a try by Hope Rogers.  Fifteen minutes later, France responded with another try. Then, the Eagles scored on a penalty kick from Kimber Rozier.

France placed third in the 2014 Women's RFC, hosting the tournament. The final of that event was held in Stade Jean Bouin, which held last year's Men's Paris 7s.

These same women's teams will meet Friday in a rematch, the game shifting to Altrad Stadium, Montpelier (16,000 seat capacity). The game begins at 9 p.m. French time.

In another important women's Test match, number one ranked New Zealand beat number two Canada 20-10 in Dublin.
