Things are shaping up in the College 7s championships as we move into Round 2 of the men's competition.

Two massive games ended with the same score - Life edged Cal Poly 19-17 thanks to a Jacob McFadden try in the final seconds. Colton Cariaga's conversion gave the Running Eagles the win. Both teams looked good to win the pool, so this was definitely a key matchup. Cal Poly now has to hope they win their last game, against Texas, by a large margin to possibly secure a wild card spot in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile UC Davis and Kutztown met up. This one ended with the same score, but with a slightly different sequence, as Kutztown ran out to a 19-7 lead  and then held on as the Aggies scored through Calvin Doval and Sam Shackleford, but couldn't hit the conversions.

This result puts Kutztown in excellent position to win Pool E.
