Head coach Chris Brown has picked his side for the Sydney stop on the HSBC Women's World Rugby Sevens Series Feb. 1-3. There are four changes to the lineup, with three players making their season debut. Two are World Series debutants, and the third is a returning veteran.

Meya Bizer hasn't played on the World Series since 2016. A torn ACL kept her out of action for a time, and she made her comeback with the 15s team in November. She earned her first international cap at 20-years-old in 2012.

The rookies are Kristi Kirshe and Kasey McCravey, both former NCAA athletes in other sports. McCravey played softball at Army, and she was discovered by former All-American and Eagle assistant coach Andy Locke. Kirshe played soccer at Williams University, who rose to prominence with the Northeast Academy.

The Eagles enter Sydney in third place, having won silver in Glendale reached the quarterfinals again in Dubai. China, Spain and host Australia await them.
