The schedule for the Pacific Coast 7s Championship is set, with eight men’s teams playing for two seeds to the national championships, and four women’s teams competing for likely three, and possibly four seeds.

The tournament will be streamed live by here, and will be held at Magnuson Park’s dedicated rugby field.

The men’s competition will see two pools of four teams. The top two from each pool will play in the semis, and the winners on to the final.

The teams have been mixed among the four Pacific Northwest and four Northern California teams. SFGG heads up Pool A along with PNW runners up Eastside, Northern California #3 Sacramento Lions, and PNW #4 Valley Kangaroos. SFGG is favored to win this pool, but they have been pushed by Sacramento before.

Seattle OPSB leads Pool B, but will be pushed by Northern California runners up Olympic Club. Chuckanut, the PNW #3, and East Palo Alto, the Northern California #4, round out the pool.

The women’s tournament will be a four-team round robin between Seattle, Berkley, ORSU, and the Mudhens. All four teams are very strong, although Seattle has emerged as real up-and-comer team.
