Division II is reaching playoff time. Our rankings give some consideration to winning your conference but some teams who are ranked higher than others will miss out on the playoffs because they play tougher competition.

Navy was the big winner of the week, defeating Notre Dame College at home 32-25 to move up to eight overall. Notre Dame tried to pack two games into a weekend and got burned with a loss to Wheeling Jesuit on Sunday. There was very little movement in the rankings this week. Only a handful of ranked teams were on tap with several playing each other. In all those cases, all of the higher ranked teams won.
The biggest mover of the weekend was Davenport. The Panthers lost to unranked Notre Dame and as a result drop three spots. Their pedigree and earlier results prevent them from a larger fall.

Nearly all of the top 10 was idle this past weekend and with unsurprising results elsewhere there was not much movement in the DI rankings.
The biggest game saw Navy get its first run out under head coach Gavin Hickie. The Midshipmen were in a tight contest with Air Force early on, but ran away in the second half. Navy impressed and moves up to 13.

There was some movement in the DII Rankings as there were several surprise results. Three ranked teams failed to beat lesser opponents and ultimately knocked one of those teams out of the rankings.
Northern Michigan upset UW-Milwaukee 31-23 in WIIL play this weekend. UWM was previously ranked 11 but fall behind Northern Michigan at 19.
