Army West Point is offering an overnight summer rugby camp for girls 12 to 18 years old.
This marks the first-year of this three-session training experience.
The coaching staff is exceptional; including Bill LeClerc, Head Men’s Coach at Army, Steve Lewis, USA 2014-2015 Coach of the year, and finally, Lara Vivolo, Assistant Women’s Army Coach, and former USA Eagles player. The ratio will be ten campers to one instructor.
The emphasis will be on individual instruction to improve rugby skills and tactics, while also strengthening leadership abilities.
The dates are Wednesday July 5th through Saturday, July 8th.
Need more information? Telephone Bill LeClerc at (845) 938-0179 or Lara Vivolo at (914) 282-5780. Or access [email protected].
The “Point” is a long-standing memorial to American history, featuring fine-looking architecture and historic buildings. The Anderson Rugby Complex is a modern addition to the sports program, and the rugby fields sit on ground near the scenic Hudson River.
