The Detroit Tradesmen defeated the Cleveland Eastern Suburbs team 35-29 Saturday to move into first place in the Midwest DII club Eastern Conference.

The Tradesmen were led by fullback Adam Saad, who scored four of his team’s five tries – twice as many tries as Eastern Suburbs managed.

With the victory the Tradesmen improved to 6-1, with 29 points in the standings. Pittsburgh, which won 85-5 over Detroit RFC, improve to 6-1 also, with 27 points in the standings. Previously in 1st, Eastern Suburbs falls to 3rd at 5-2 with 26 points.
