Playoff time is upon us pretty much across the board, so highly ranked teams will be playing one another for the next few weeks. The chalk held in most of those matches through the weekend.

The top six remains unchanged for the eighth week in a row, with BYU beating UCLA, Cal clobbering Texas, St. Mary's punishing Santa Clara and Central Washington edging Utah. Life and Army were dormant.

Davenport's dismantling of Lindenwood and Navy's one-point defeat of Clemson do give us some movement in the top 10. The Panthers and Midshipmen both jump up two spots, Lindenwood slides two and Clemson remains at No. 11. Utah falls a couple after losing to Central Washington.

Making the biggest climb this week is Penn State, which won its opening round D1A playoff match at Wisconsin. Outside of a few friendlies with men's teams, the Nittany Lions had been dormant since the fall. Because of a big win over Navy and more activity this spring, Rugby East rival Wheeling Jesuit had climbed ahead of Penn State, despite falling to the Nittany Lions in the autumn. That ship is now righted, with Penn State slotting right between Kutztown and WJU.
