PHILADELPHIA — The Collegiate Rugby Championship Cup Semifinal matchups are set with (1) Cal to face (3) UCLA and (2) Life to play (5) Kutztown Sunday at 3 p.m. and 3:25 p.m., respectively.

Cal topped Penn State in the Cup Quarterfinals 33-5 after leading 12-5 at the half, capitalizing on broken play opportunities to down the Nittany Lions with tries from Jake Anderson, Seamus Kelly, Brad Harrington, Russell Webb, and Andrew Battaglia.

"When the games fall apart, it's important to keep a calm head," Webb said. "It took us a few mintues to adjust to that, we were kind of frantic at the start. I think once we calmed down and settled in a bit, we really hit our patterns."

Penn State's try came from Ross Morris, fresh off a four-try game against Northeastern.

"I watched (Penn State) against UCLA Friday on the stream and (Morris) seemed to be the most effective," Webb said. "He was running hard lines and he actually made a good tackle on me in defense."

After not allowing a single point in pool play, Life was seriously tested by Navy, who led 26-24 late in the second half. The Running Eagles took a quick tap after a penalty on the near touchline and worked the ball wide to prop Paris Hollis, who scored in the corner to seal the 31-26 win.

Kutztown beat Michigan - who went undefeated in pool play - 14-0 behind tries from Niku Kruger and Vetekina Malafu.

UCLA edged Dartmouth 21-12, getting tries from Sebastian Sharpe, Max Robin and Sam Sirell. James Sharpe and Kevin Clark scored for the Big Green.

At last year's CRC, Cal defeated UCLA in the Cup Semifinals 33-12 and Life beat Navy 43-7.
