There were several matchups between ranked teams this week and all of the better ranked teams won their respective contests.
Number two Cal blitzed Utah Valley 106-7 in an impressive showing. UVU, who was ranked at 16, drops to 20.
The matchup between Arizona and Utah was a remarkable change from last year. Last year the Wildcats took a lopsided loss to Utah but this year it was all Arizona with a 70-19 win. Arizona moves up to nine and Utah drops to 17.
Lindenwood and Arkansas State battled in muddy conditions down south with the lions coming out on top. Arkansas State moves down to number 11.
The final game between ranked teams saw San Diego State best UC-Davis 31-13. San Diego State moves up to 16.
