Some key conference matchups caused some shake up in the rankings this week. Penn State put a 56-12 hurting on Iona and as a result jumps up to number 12 over Iona and Army. Iona now has three losses on its record so the Gaels drop to 19th. Army beat Penn State but the victory was early in the season. The Black Knights have two losses, one to Iona and one to Kutztown. Penn State takes on Kutztown next weekend and will make the Rugby East breakdown much clearer.
In other conference action, Tennessee outlasted South Carolina in SCRC play and as a result jumps up to number 18. South Carolina and Alabama still make our Top 25 at 23rd and 24th respectively.
After a pair of blowout victories over Dartmouth and Yale, Lindenwood leap frogged over an idle Central Washington. The Lions amassed 173 points and yielded 12 in back-to-back dominant performances.
Entering the rankings for the first time this season is Western Michigan. Western Michigan is undefeated in the very competetive MAC conference and slots in at number 25.
Notre Dame College fell to an unranked St. Bonaventure on Saturday and drops out of our Top 25.
