The top of the rankings remain unchanged despite a couple of the top teams duking it out. BYU staved off a late St. Mary's comeback to win 30-29 and remain in the top spot. St. Mary's remains at number three and if not for a strong showing by injury plagued Cal side this weekend, it could have moved up to number two despite losing.
Arizona played UCLA to a very tough match this weekend losing 18-12. The Bruins remain at 15th in the rankings but Arizona jumps up to 21st with the strong performance. The Wildcats had been blown out by UCLA in years prior, but the last several years have inched closer to the Los Angeles side.
The biggest drop this weekend was by an idle team. Tennessee drops from 17th to 22nd due in large part to the Clemson, South Carolina result. Clemson beat the Gamecocks fairly easily and Tennessee played two tight matches with South Carolina. The Volunteers won both however, and with an undefeated record remain in front of the Tigers.
