LSU defeated Tennessee 41-18 to move to 2-0 in SEC conference play.

Will Middleton scored three tries in the game, including a crucial one that ti9ed the teams at 15-15 in the first half.

Tennessee took an early lead with a try from Chaz Miller, and extended it with a Wes Wesley try. But the Volunteers came back to lead 15-10 before Middleton's first try.

Alexander Nadler's try made it 20-15 and the Tigers began to roll after that.

Alex Creede's try, converted by Iain McKenzie made it 27-18, and then Middleton scored twice more, both converted by McKenzie, made it 41-18.

Tennessee drops to 1-2.
