Stanford women's rugby ran out to an early 12-0 lead and held on 24-19 over touring Dartmouth Friday night in Palo Alto, Calif.

Karoline Walker scored a try and two conversions as Dartmouth stormed back in the wet conditions.

However, Stanford did just enough in the final 60 minutes to get the win.
