Major League Rugby Championship Game – This Sunday, June 16, at 1 p.m. (PT) the league leading San Diego Legion welcome the visiting Seattle Seawolves in the second year MLR championship match. The contest will be inside Torero Stadium, a 6,000-seat venue that is home to the San Diego University football team. San Diego won both games against the Seawolves this season by scores of 17-13 at home (February 2), and 28-22 away (March 31). The game will be televised at 4 p.m. ET on CBS.
HSBC Women’s Sevens in France – The final match of the 2018/2018 Women’s sevens (begun in Glendale, Colorado, last December) occurs this weekend in Biarritz, France, on Saturday. Twelve nations will compete, with the four highest point totals for the season gaining an automatic qualifying place in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The Eagles stand second in the standings behind New Zealand. Games played in the 15,000 seat Parc des Sports Aguilera.

U20 Championship – All matches Monday, June 17 in various venues in Argentina. The final pairings for this annual tournament occur in three sections as follows:
Places 1-4 : Argentina vs. Australia
South Africa vs. France (2018 Champion)
Places 5-8: England vs. Ireland
New Zealand vs. Wales
Place 9-12: Fiji vs. Georgia
Italy vs. Scotland
After Monday’s contests, the winners will compete for the higher places, and the two losers for the lower places. The team that finishes twelfth drops to the U20 Trophy event next year.
