This weekend offers a dynamic quartet of international rugby, three of which involve USA Men and Women's teams.
Sydney Sevens - The USA Women have already advanced into the quarter final round, with the next game against Ireland to be played later this evening (6:22 p.m. Eastern Time). The men will also play later today.
American Rugby Championship - Saturday will see the Men's XV open the second year of the ARC 2017 event against Uruguay in Texas. This will mark coach john Mitchell's second year at the helm. Problematic are the professional American ruggers under contract with European clubs and not released for this contest.
Six Nations European Championship - All eyes Saturday will be at Twickenham where England meet France. The hosts went undefeated in 2017, including five wins in last year's Six Nation event (the Grand Slam). England goes for fifteen wins in a row against Les Bleus, a team that has not showed the panache of yesteryear.
Las Vegas LVI Fills Up - The popular Las Vegas Invitational has filled most of the slots for March's tournament. To date, more than 225 women and men's teams in sevens and fifteens have signed up for the event.
Las Vegas Sevens - Remember that World Rugby has added a women's sevens tournament, the third one of the season. The games will start Friday morning, March 3, with a medal finish Saturday morning. All games will be played inside Sam Boyd Stadium. Ticket holders who purchased Friday Men's USA Sevens access can enter the stadium on Friday at any time with no additional charge.
